Edge/Center Erase
Use these settings to “clean up” a scan where large areas may be
dark or to selectively remove a portion of an image.
•
Use
Edge Erase
to block out the peripheral or outside areas of the
document. For example, where shadows and borders may appear
when scanning a book or magazine with the cover open.
•
Use
Center Erase
to block out a centered rectangular area of the
document. For example, where shadows and borders may appear
when scanning bound originals with a center spread layout.
