Turning power off (Shutdown)
When turning OFF the power of the equipment, be sure to shut it down following the procedure below. Be
sure to confirm the following three points before shutdown.
•
No jobs should be left in the print job list. ( P.244 “1.Job Status”)
• None of the PRINT DATA, MEMORY RX and FAX communication lamps should be blinking. (If the
equipment is shut down while any of the above lamps is blinking, jobs in progress such as FAX recep-
tion will be aborted.)
• No PC should access the equipment via the network.
• Do not press the power switch to turn the power OFF, otherwise the stored data may be lost or the hard
disk may be damaged.
• When the equipment is shut down, the job in progress is cleared.

Press the [USER] button on the touch panel to enter the user setting
menu, and then press the [SHUTDOWN] button.
