The NHDR 4000 series recorders can be controlled by NOVUS NV

KBD50 system keyboard using

Control protocol.

Configuration of keyboard parameters is in the

Device \ RS485

menu.

Enabling the

RS485

function (

Keyboard Enable

) means that the RS485 port will be used by the

keyboard to control the recorder.

Keyboard Disable

allows to control PTZ cameras by the recorder

using RS485 port. It is not possible to simultaneously operate the recorder by the keyboard and PTZ
cameras by the recorder.

The recorder address (

Device ID

) is located in the

System \ General \ General

menu (default 1).
