14. RECORDER OPERATION BY WEB BROWSER

The recorder enables operation via the Internet Explorer web browser.

14.1. Recommended PC configuration

The recommended PC configuration for smooth use of the WWW applet is shown below.

Note! The recorder has a DHCP service enabled by default

the IP address is assigned by the

DHCP server.If there is no DHCP server in the network, the recorder has factory set address
192.168.1.100.

14.2. Installing the WWW applet plugin

To use the web applet in Internet Explorer browser, the appropriate plug

in is needed. Run the web

browser and enter the IP address of the device.

If the connection is correct, the window as below will be displayed.

Click the

download

link and save the "SurveillancePlugin.exe" application. It is necessary to close the

internet browser while installing the plugin. The installation wizard will install the plugin.
