Using Passport 4400 Install Tool Version 4.2
If a wizard is grayed out, it is not available for your current configuration.
Transparent CCS Wizard
set up Transparent CCS for this unit. Specifically,
you use this wizard to:
•
select and configure a T1 or E1 data port,
•
select and configure a WAN port,
•
select a DS0 channel.
Note: This wizard assumes that the T1 or E1 line
parameters and the DVMs (digital voice modules)
are already configured; you can configure these
using the Voice Wizard or the Setup Wizard. Note
also that the Transparent CCS Wizard is available
only if the Passport 4400 is equipped with either a
T1 or an E1 voice module.
Voice Over IP Wizard
configure the unit for Voice over IP (VoIP)
operations. Specifically, you will configure System
Identification parameters, IP parameters, and voice
services (for all available voice ports).
Demo Wizard
walk through a complete Setup Wizard session
without actually changing the configuration of the
Passport 4400. (Although the Demo Wizard
prompts you to reset the unit at several points
during the process, it will not actually perform a
reset.)
Note: The Demo Wizard does not require a
connection to a Passport 4400.
