Starting Install Tool
Before Running the Software
Verify that you have a physical connection between the workstation and your
Passport 4400 before running the Install Tool software. Refer to
Chapter 3,
“Connecting a Workstation
” for instructions.
Procedure
To start Install Tool, follow these steps:

Click the Start button, select Programs, select Nortel Networks Passport
Installation, then select one of the Install Tool options. (Select Install Tool for
standard mode, Install Tool Wizard for wizard mode, or Install Tool Demo for
demo mode. Refer to
“Operating Modes” on page 57
for a description of
each.)
Alternatively, you can open the Nortel Networks Passport Installation folder
on the desktop, then double-click the desired icon.
A message displays while Install Tool loads into memory.
