Preamplifi er attenuation
The instrument has the ability to correct for the attenu-
ation in the preamplifi er. Typical value of the attenua-
tion is 0.7 dB. The correction can be set in the range
0.0 to 9.9 dB. The correction can be switched on/off to
facilitate applications of other transducers without pre-
amplifi er. The correction is automatically switched off if
IEPE-type of preamplifi er is selected.

tion parameter Preamp by means of the inc and
dec keys. Do the same to deactivate. Preamplifi er

Setting the amount of attenuation:
• In the Correction menu, press

(Corr.par) to gain
access to the correction parameter setup menu.

to gain access to the attenuation setting
itself. Never change this setting unless you know
what you’re doing! Use the numerical keypad to set
the attenuation value. Press
ENTER
twice to leave
