INSTALLATION: COMPONENT
ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION
PHASE 4
4.1 - AUTOMATION COMPONENTS INSTALLATION
The installation operations described in this phase may be carried out also
by personnel who are not specifically qualified, provided that they comply
scrupulously and
in the order indicated
, with all instructions given.
Caution! - Improper installation may cause serious injury to the
person who performs the work and to those who will use the in-
stallation.
01.
Disassemble the various components from the existing shut-
ter.
Proceed according to the numerical order given in
example A
whilst taking into account the following RECOMMENDATIONS:
• Before starting work, fully lower the roller shutter.
•
Before removing the tube, you must locate the exact point of
its axis of rotation, by measuring and recording the two meas-
urements shown in fig. 6.
• Do not remove the shutter from its guides; leave the shutter low
-
ered during all successive component installation phases.
02.
Determine the position of the axis of rotation of the tube.
– The
new tube must be installed in the same position as the preceding
tube, using the measurements taken during removal of the existing
shutter (
fig. 6
).
03.
Cut the tube to the required length.
– Cut the tube carefully, on

the basis of the previously determined tube length (see PHASE 3),
without distorting its end profile.
04.
Only for Mhousekit RME-TN: determine the position of the “L”
holders.
– The two “L” holders are used to support the tube and
the roller shutter. They must therefore be positioned and affixed
with caution, taking into account the fact that, following tube instal
-
lation,
its axis of rotation must end up in the position estab-
lished at point 02
. Therefore here are some recommendations to
be followed, to carry out the work correctly:
– consider that the holders can be affixed to the wall in 4 different posi
-
tions (
fig. 7
); therefore, use the position most suited
to the specific case.
