7.7 - Standard memorization of an ADDITIONAL transmitter
IMPORTANT! – This procedure may only be used if at least one transmitter has already been memorized in the motor
(model STX1 is supplied already
memorized in the motor). • To run the procedure, you must have another previously memorized transmitter at hand.
The procedure memorizes the transmitter in standard mode, i.e. the system automatically maps a given command with each button, using the following factory
settings:
- button
s
(or
1
): maps to
Up
- button
n
(or
2
): maps to
Stop
- button
t
(or
3
): maps to
Down
and (if the transmitter has a fourth key)
- button
4
: maps to
Stop
N.B.:
– The button/command mapping cannot be modified by the installation technician.
Before starting the procedure, bring the shutter to the midpoint of its stroke.
01.
(on the new transmitter) keep the
n
key pressed for 8 seconds and then release it (in this case the motor does not perform any movement).
02.
(on the old transmitter)
Give for 3 pulse to the
n
key, provided it has already been memorized.
03.
(on the new transmitter) Give 1 pulse to the
n
key. After a while the motor performs 3 movements to confirm the memorisation.
Warning!
If the motor per-
forms 6 movements, it means that its memory is full.

keys of the old transmitter pressed for 4 seconds.
7.8 - Custom memorization of an ADDITIONAL transmitter
IMPORTANT! – This procedure may only be used if at least one transmitter has already been memorized in the motor
(model STX1 is supplied al
-
ready memorized in the motor). • To run the procedures, you must have another transmitter, memorized with the procedure given in par. 7.6 or 7.7 at hand.
The procedure memorizes the transmitter in custom mode, i.e. the installer can select a command from those available for the motor (see the list in the proce
-
dure itself) and
manually map it to any button
on the new transmitter.
N.B.:
– The procedure must be run every time you wish to map a command to a button.
Before starting the procedure, bring the shutter to the midpoint of its stroke.
01.
(on the new transmitter) Hold the key to be memorised down for
8 seconds (for example: the
n
key), then release it (in this case the motor does not per
-
form any movement).
02.
(on the old transmitter) Keep the
n
key pressed and wait for the motor to perform 4 movements. Upon completion, release the key.
03.
(on the old transmitter) Briefly press the
n
key a certain number of times depending on the and you want to memorise(*):
1 pulse
= 1 Step-by-step command: Open > Stop > Close > Stop > ...
2 pulses
= 2 Step-by-step command: Open > Stop > ...
3 pulses
= 3 Step-by-step command: Close > Stop > ...
4 pulses
= Stop command
(*) – The commands included in a step-by-step group operate as follows: after a manoeuvre has been initiated, if you press the same button again the motor
runs the next manoeuvre in the sequence, and so on.
After about 10 seconds, the motor performs a number of movements equal to the number impulses given with the transmitter.
04.
(on the new transmitter) Press the same key as you pressed in point 01 and hold it down while the motor performs 3 movements. Upon completion, release
the key.
Warning!
If the motor performs 6 movements, it means that its memory is full.
