EXTERIOR
To open the rear door, locate the handle inside the
opening in the bottom of the trim (approximately mid-
door). It incorporates a key lock so you can secure your
garage by locking the release handle in place, preventing
access to the garage area. Be sure the lock is unlocked
before attempting to open the rear garage door.
A release trigger is located on top of the handle. Wrap
your hand around the pull handle, and squeeze the
release trigger with your finger. With the trigger pulled, the
handle will swing down, releasing the latching mechanism
for the rear garage door. Pressing on the door may release
some pressure on the latching mechanism to allow the
handle to swing down more easily.
Once the release handle has been pulled down fully, the
garage door/ramp will begin to swing down. After opening
a few feet, the hydraulic assist system will catch the door
and allow you to lower it gently the rest of the way to the
ground.
To complete the lowering process, rotate the hinged ramp
cover at the bottom of the door to bridge the gap between
the garage floor and the ramp/door. This provides a
smooth transition as items are loaded up and down the
ramp into the garage. Always use caution when loading
and unloading cargo.
GARAGE SCREEN
The garage area features an
optional pull down mesh screen
that allows you to leave the
ramp lowered for ventilation
and comfort while keeping
insects and other pests out of
the garage area. Simply grasp
the handle in the middle of the
screen and pull it downwards
until it latches on the ends to
the catch mechanisms on the
floor. To retract it, hold the
handle and release the latches
on the ends. Spring tension will
pull the screen up, so be sure
to hold the handle securely to
prevent sudden retraction that
could potentially damage the
accessory.
MANUAL SCREEN
Some coaches feature a pull down mesh screen. Simply
grasp the handle in the middle of the screen and pull it
down until it latches on the ends to the catch mechanisms
on the floor. To retract it, hold the handle and release the
latches on the ends. Spring tension will pull the screen up,
so be sure to hold the handle securely to prevent sudden
retraction that could potentially damage the accessory.
POWERED SCREEN
Some coaches feature a powered retractable screen that
can be operated via a wall switch and/or remote.
WARNING
!
Read entire ramp door instructions before operating.
Failure to comply with these instructions could lead
to serious injury or death.
WARNING
!
Always check to make sure there are no objects, or
person, in the path of the ramp when operating. Do
not operate the ramp with person or objects on the
ramp.
WARNING
!
The rear cargo area bunk beds are designed for
temporary use and should not be occupied while in
transit. They should also not be occupied while any
vehicles are stored in the cargo bay area.
Do not use the bunk beds as a lifting device for
objects or people, as it could result in failure of the
bed and/or the lift mechanism, resulting in property
damage, as well as injury or death.
DANGER
!
GARAGE BUNK BEDS
Some floorplans also work perfectly
as an extra bedroom or living space
in the cargo bay or garage area
thanks to optional electric lift bunk
beds. The bunk beds are raised and
lowered via the switch located on
the door side of the garage area
wall. Rocking the switch up raises
the beds, and down lowers them.
The lower bunk folds into a sofa for
additional seating when the garage
area is empty. To fold the lower
bunk, raise the bunk beds to their
highest position. Once the bunks are completely raised,
install one pin in each of the four lift posts on the wall
to lock the top bunk into the highest position. Once the
upper bunk is secure, lower the bottom bunk.
When the lower bunk is completely lowered, reach
between the cushions to lift the back portion upright
to convert the bunk into a sofa until it clicks into place.
To lower the seat backs, pull the seat toward you until
it clicks and releases to return the bunk to a sleeping
surface.
