Removing Device Brackets
1.
Locate and remove the screw that secures the device bracket in the bay. (Put
the screw in a safe place for use during reassembly.)

As an added security feature, the keylock switch must be in the Manual position before the file bay
brackets can be removed. If the keylock switch is in the Locked position, the file bay bracket will not
slide forward. This prevents device removal while the keylock switch is in the Locked position.
2.
Verify that the keylock switch is in the Manual position. The device bracket
will not slide out of the file bay unless the keylock is in the Manual position.
3.
Slide the device bracket out of the NEC Versa Dock.
