A message will appear informing you when it
is safe to turn off power to your system.

Turn off power to your monitor.

Power off the system by pressing the system unit power
button.

CAUTION
Wait until a program is finished running before
powering off the system.
Unless absolutely necessary, never power off the
system when the system power lamp is blinking or
when the hard disk lamp or diskette drive busy lamp
is lit. Information on the hard disk or diskette might
be lost or damaged.
Setting Date and Time
To set the system date and time within Windows 95 or
Windows NT 4.0, you must access the Control Panel
program group and select the Date/Time icon.

Press the Start button and scroll up and highlight the
“Settings” menu selection.

Highlight and click “Control Panel”in the Settings
pop-up submenu. In the Control Panel program group,
double click the Date/Time icon

Set the time by entering the current hour, minutes, and
seconds in hh:mm:ss, 24-hour format. For example, set
4:30 pm as
16:30:00
