Slimtower Stabilizer Removal
If the system is configured as a slimtower, the stabilizer(s) must be removed before the system
cover can be removed for access to the interior of the system.
Remove the stabilizer(s) from the slimtower as follows.
1. Turn off the system and all peripherals.
2.
Unplug the system AC power cord and all peripheral power cords.
3. Disconnect all peripherals (USB devices, keyboard, mouse, monitor) from the front and rear
of the system.
4. Position the system on its side on a table, with the stabilizers over the edge of the table.
5. Remove the two screws attaching the stabilizers to the system and remove the stabilizers
from the system.
Removing the Slimtower Stabilizers

Install the stabilizer(s) as follows.
1. Set the system on the edge of a table, with the edge of the system protruding beyond the
edge of the table.
2.
If installing both stabilizers, join the two pieces together to form one piece and position the
stabilizers over the feet on the system.
3.
If installing only one stabilizer, position it over the feet on the side where the stabilizer is to
be attached.
4. Secure the stabilizer(s) in place with the two previously removed screws.
