Maxtor EIDE Hard Drive Jumper Settings
The factory settings for the jumpers on the Maxtor EIDE hard drive are shown in the following
table. The settings are for a single hard drive installed in the system as the master device on the
primary channel. Specifications for the hard drive are included in Section 9.

Quantum EIDE Hard Drive Jumper Settings
The factory settings for the jumpers on the Quantum EIDE hard drive are shown in the
following table. The settings are for a single hard drive installed in the system as a master device
on the primary channel. Specifications for the hard drive are included in Section 9.

CD-ROM Drive Jumper Settings
The type of switch or jumpers and the settings for the CD-ROM drive depend on the
manufacturer’s model. The factory setting is for the CD-ROM drive installed as the master
device on the secondary channel. Specifications for the CD-ROM drive are included in
Section 9.
