If you do not know how much memory is installed in the system, check the
amount as follows.
1.
On the Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0 desktop, point to
My Computer
and click the right mouse button.
2.
With the left mouse button, click
Properties
. Select the
General
tab to
show the amount of random access memory (RAM) in the computer. For
Windows 98 and Windows 2000, you can also select the
Performance
tab
to show the RAM memory.
Note
:
If a discrepancy is found in the amount of memory
displayed at the Power-On Self-Test or in Windows with the
amount of memory installed, check that the memory
modules were installed correctly.
