Connect the monitor to the computer as follows.

1. 

Turn off the computer.

2. 

Attach the monitor signal cable to the VGA monitor connector at the back of the
computer (see Figure Section 3-33). The connectors are keyed to fit only in the
correct position. Secure the connection by tightening the two screws on either
side of the signal cable.

3. 

Connect one end of the power cord to the monitor. Plug the other end into the AC
wall outlet.
