System Security
The Image P90E and Image P100E have many security features that guard the system
against unauthorized use. These features include:

asset management information at boot
n
audit log
n
login IDs during power-up
Asset Management
Every time the system is powered up, the serial number of the unit, system board revision,
and ownership information is displayed on the screen until the operating system loads. The
information can be updated when the system board is replaced (see Asset Management
Identification, in Section 4)
Audit Log
The system provides information to the user by logging the time and ID of certain system
events. These events include:

last login for each login ID configured
n
last password change for each login ID configured
n
last bad login attempt
n
running Setup.
