PD78F0124

The

PD78F0124 is provided as the flash memory version of the 78K0/KD1 Series.

The

PD78F0124 replaces the internal mask ROM of the

PD780124 with flash memory to which a program can

be written, erased, and overwritten while mounted on the board. Table 25-1 lists the differences between the

PD78F0124 and the mask ROM versions.

Note

The same capacity as the mask ROM versions can be specified by means of the internal memory size

switching register (IMS).

Caution

There are differences in noise immunity and noise radiation between the flash memory and

mask ROM versions. When pre-producing an application set with the flash memory version

and then mass-producing it with the mask ROM version, be sure to conduct sufficient

evaluations for the commercial samples (not engineering samples) of the mask ROM versions.
