So, to summarize the commands:
?TGT, ?DMD, ?DMV, STGT, SDMD, SDMV, SSFW
must not be used for the 9010F
model.
The 9010F has the additional
SSFDS
command (the 9010 has the SSFD only); this
command accept the step parameter (step > 0).
When using, instead, the SSFD command, the 9010F choses, automatically, the
best step for the RBW in use, as an optimization.
Due to this added functionality, the protocol was adjusted, so that the receiver is
able to communicate to the PC what the actual frequency step is.
The answer contains a header which format is the following:
After “SFD=OK\r\n” there are 32 bytes. The beginning 4 bytes represent the IEEE
single Little Endian frequency step, in Hz.
The remaining 28 bytes are reserved and can be ignored.
