Use a small screw driver to adjust the sensitivity of the Photo
sensor to the maximum.

When the Photo sensor lights beam is visible on the Reflection
sticker, it will be reflected to the Photo sensor.
(See Fig. 6.32)
In some STR types there can be placed 2 Photo Sensors in the Base.
In that case there are also 2 Reflection stickers.
