4.7 REPLACE THE SPITTING BOX SPONGE
4.7.1 Frequency
When working with Mild Solvent ink:
Every two weeks
When working with Eco-Solvent Ultra ink
Monthly
Step 1 :
Power ON the printer and go to the M.Maint.-Menu. The carriage will move to the manual
cleaning area on the left of the machine.
Step 2 :
Remove the old absorbents with tweezers.

Step 3 :
Install the new absorbents in the flushing box. Make sure that the 2 holes are on the right side of
the flushing box and that the pins of the black box are in the holes of the absorbent.
