7.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter explains troubles that may occur when using the printer and how to solve them.
If you encounter an error not described in this chapter, refer to "Error messages" and contact your local
MUTOH dealer.

it, you may be changed for the service even if it is within the term of warranty.
If you have a maintenance service contract, please show the agreement or other documents.
7.2 FAILURES AND MALFUNCTIONS OF THE PRINTER
This section describes the failures and malfunctions of the printer not displayed as errors, causes and
solutions.
(1) The printer does not work after the power has been switched on.

(2) The printer does not work after media has been loaded.

(3) The printer does not work after data has been sent from a computer.

Replace the ink cassette.
The empty LED on the LED bar above the
slot will light up.
(4) The printer does not print and an error is generated after data has been sent from a computer.
