Routing Table Example
The routing table stores the routing information so that the RF802EW knows how to route
the IP packets to the proper network.

What is the purpose of the routing table?
In the diagram above, the RF802EW-1 has the routing information to route between
192.168.3.x and 192.168.5.x. The device does not have the information about how
to route to the 172.168.2.x network. If you want the RF802EW-1 to route to
172.168.2.x, you must add the following information to the routing table:
IP:
172.168.2.0
Network:
255.255.255.0
Gateway IP: 192.168.5.254
Interface:
Ethernet (Local Network)
If you would like the RF802EW-2. to route to 192.168.3.x, enter the following
routing table information into the RF802EW Routing settings:
IP:
192.168.3.0
Network:
255.255.255.0
Gateway IP: 192.168.5.1
Interface:
WAN Ethernet
