Preconditions

1.

Remove cylinder head cover (→ Page 115).

2.

Install barring device (→ Page 99).

Note:

The OT mark (1) (if fitted) on the flywheel
must not be used for reference.

3.

Rotate crankshaft with barring device in en-
gine direction of rotation until "OT-A1"
mark and pointer are aligned.
