Time
The
Time
configuration page lets users set the time, date, and other settings. An explanation of
each setting is given below the figure.
The EDS has a time calibration function based on information from an NTP server or user
specified Time and Date information. Functions such as Auto warning
can add real-time
information to the message.
NOTE
The EDS does not have a real time clock. The user must update the
Current Time
and

Date
to set the initial time for the EDS after each reboot, especially when the network does not
have an Internet connection for NTP server or there is no NTP server on the LAN.
