Field
Description
Capability Codes
The capabilities that define the primary function(s) of the system.
Interface
The local port to which a remote CDP-capable device is attached.
Version
The software version running on the neighbor.
Device ID
The name of the neighbor device, its MAC address or the serial number.
Hold Time
The amount of time to hold CDP messages as advertised in CDP updates
received from the neighbor.
Remain Time
The amount of time this switch will continue to hold a CDP advertisement
before discarding it.
Capability
The device type of the neighbor.
Platform
The product number of the device.
Port ID
The interface type and port number of the neighbor.
