CHAPTER 6: Processing ERNEX Transactions

6.7.4: Batch Close (ADMIN 99)

Use this function to close your batch of transactions and obtain the number
and dollar value of financial and ERNEX transactions since your last batch
close.

This transaction compares totals stored in the terminal's memory to totals
stored on the Banks host for Financial transactions and to the ERNEX host
for Loyalty and Gift Card transactions.

A balance status will indicate "batch is in balance" or "batch out of bal-
ance" and is printed on the report.

This transaction settles financial transactions to the bank and settles Loy-
alty and Gift transactions to ERNEX.
