17.4.3 Read Switch Program from ETC (upload)
If once it is needed to save a switch program from an ETC, or to copy it to an other ETC,
you are able to read (upload) the current program. After confirming the security check,
the ETC starts sending the switch program over the RS 232 interface. The used
communication parameters are 19'000 Bit/s, 1 Stop Bit, no parity. To read (upload) the
program file, the SwitchEditor software or a simple terminal program with capture
function can be used. The received data should be saved as a *.PRG file. By means of
the ETCW software, the file can be downloaded to another ETC.
