4 Installation
4.1 Connections
The connections of the mains power are specified in chapter 7.
Further connections are specified in Appendix "A Connection Diagrams”.
Only connect the designated devices to the various inputs and outputs.
4.2
Checklist for Start-up
The following list should be of assistance for a safe and fast start-up.

Application specific wiring of the inputs and outputs (Annexe A)
□
Connect supply and switch on (Chapter 7, Annexe A)
□
Read notes of operation (Chapter 6)
□
Set the required menu language (Chapter 18.1)
□
Set time zone of the master clock display (Chapter 9.2)
□
When available, configure external time reference (Chapter 10.1) and check the
reception quality (Chapter 11.1)
□
If there is no external time reference, set local time and date manually (Chapter 9.1)
□
Configure outputs according to the requirements (Chapter 12)
□
Once the configuration of the ETC is completed, save the current settings in the flash
memory (Chapter 17.7.1)
