Software
The ETC changes into the download mode and waits for a new system software through
the interface.

Notice:
Prior to start a download the current configuration should be saved in the flash
memory (Chapter 17.7.1). Otherwise it will be overwritten. The restoration of the
saved configuration will automatically be executed after the download.
17.4 Switch
Program
With the PC software SwitchEditor the switch program can be comfortably established
on a PC or notebook and loaded on the ETC through the ETCW software. The switch
program memory can also be deleted and uploaded through this menu point.
17.4.1 Download Switch Program from a PC
After a security inquiry the ETC changes into the download mode and waits for a switch
program.

After a security inquiry the present switch program in the RAM of the ETC will be deleted.
