Supervision
The models ETC 24 and ETC 24R provide three control inputs. These inputs can be used to
control single channels of the switch program (chapter 15.6). Furthermore they can be
configured to control external devices by the ETC. When the expected input signal is missing
the ETC reports an alarm (to the display / alarm relay / CAS, if configured) after the timeout
occured (see example).

Input configuration:
C o m b i n a t i o n : A N D
I n p u t 1
I n p u t 2
I n p u t 3
F u n c t i o n : D y n .
S t a t e : [ - - - ]
C h a n n e l : 0 0
A l . t i m e o u t [ s ] : 0 2
Function:
Specifies the expected input signal. Selection from Low / High
(signal states) or Dynamic for signals with periodically changing
states (frequency approximately 10..100 Hz).
If function is set to Prog. the control input will be used for logic
combination with a channel of the switch program (chapter 15.6).
State:
The current state of the control input is inhibited as long as the input
is used for device supervision ([---]).
Channel:
Does not affect the switch program anymore as long as the device
supervision is active.
Al. timeout [s]:
Delay time in seconds (1..60 s) until the ETC indicates an alarm.
