REMOVAL SERVICE POINT
FRONT OIL SEAL REMOVAL
(1) Make a notch in the oil seal lip section with
a
knife, etc.
(2) Cover the end of a screwdriver with a rag and insert
into the notched
section of the oil seal, and lever out
the oil seal to remove it.
Caution
Be careful not to damage the crankshaft and the oil
pump case.
INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT
CRANKSHAFT FRONT OIL SEAL INSTALLATION
(1) Apply a small amount of engine oil to the oil seal lip
and then insert.
(2) Tap the oil seal into the cylinder block.
