Cycle main disconnect switch to “OFF” position, then “ON” position.
Oxidant Tank Pressure Transducer Assembly (Optional)
The GF Signet Pressure Transducer acts as a ‘Run/Stop’ trigger for the OSG, as the oxidant
tank fills, the pressure on this sensor increases to a certain set point that, when reached,
sends signal to the control unit to stop generating oxidant and enter standby mode. Once
the tank has drained to a certain point and the pressure is reduced, the sensor will send a
signal to the control unit to resume oxidant generation.
Oxidant Tank Level Switch Assembly (Optional)
The level switches in the oxidant tank act as the ‘Run/Stop’ switch for the unit. When both
level switches are low, the OSG enters ‘Run’ mode and makes oxidant until both level
switches are high. Once both level switches have been triggered high, the unit enters
‘Standby’ until both level switches are again in the low position.
Communications
Ethernet
To remotely control/monitor the system over Ethernet, a CAT 5 (or better) cable must be
connected from the control unit (SCADA) to an Ethernet network. From the Main menu on
the HMI, select Setup menu. Then select Network Config and verify IP address, subnet
mask and gateway settings. In order the change any of the settings, select Change
Settings. Click on the parameter to be changed. After all settings are updated, select Apply
changes. Verify settings have been updated on screen. Exit all screens to Main menu.
Verify settings with ‘ping’ command while OSG is connected to the network.
Remote Monitoring and Control
Connection to site SCADA system is provided through a Red Lion CSMSTRSX Modular
Controller which can be configured to match plant communication protocols and settings.
The interface can be configured to support e-mail and SMS notification if the system shuts
down for a fault that requires operator attention. A ModBus/Ethernet IP is built into the PLC
as a standard. For other communication options available, contact MIOX Customer Support
provider.
