Around the OSG:
Cell Enclosure
Each cell bank installed on the RIO-S contains four electrolytic cells, cell lead guards and
safety interlocks on the side panels to ensure that the operator cannot contact the cells
while under power. These components are all wired from the factory. If needed, refer to the
sub-sections below for information on connecting the cells to power. If additional
clarification is needed, please contact MIOX Customer Support.

Cell Lead Connections

Power connections from the switchgear cabinet to the electrolytic cells
Cell Enclosure Interlock sensors (not shown)

Interlock sensors are placed behind every removable panel on the cell
enclosure to ensure the cells are discharged immediately, if the panels are
opened. If these panels are removed while the OSG is running, it will send a
signal back to the safety relay and shut the OSG down.
