Wi-Fi sleep policy
······Configure sleep
settings for Wi-Fi.
Set Wi-Fi to enter sleep if no keys are
pressed for 15 minutes after the screen
dims. After entering sleep, Wi-Fi
connection will be closed, but it will
connect to an access point automatically
once a screen lights.
You can also set the Wi-Fi function not
to enter sleep either at any time or
during charging.
MAC address
······A MAC address is
displayed.
IP address
······The IP address currently
used is displayed.
Use static IP
······Set whether to specify
static IP address for connecting with a
Wi-Fi network. If checkmarked, "IP
address", "Gateway", "Netmask",
"DNS 1", and "DNS 2" can be set. To
use a static IP address, "IP address",
"Gateway", "Netmask", and "DNS 1"
need to be set.
IP address
······Set an IP address.
Gateway
······Set a gateway.
Netmask
······Set a net mask.
DNS 1
······Set DNS 1.
DNS 2
······Set DNS 2.
Bluetooth Communication
Connect the FOMA terminal and a Bluetooth-
compatible device via Bluetooth
communication. You can connect a Wireless
Earphone Set 02 (option), etc. to the FOMA
terminal, and talk on the phone or listen to
music while the FOMA terminal is still in your
bag.
There is no guarantee that the FOMA terminal
is capable of wireless communication with all
types of Bluetooth devices.

operation procedures, see also the instruction
manual of the Bluetooth-compatible device.
Precautions when using Bluetooth devices
Note the following in order to ensure a
good connection.
• Connect with another Bluetooth device
within about a 10-meter viewable
distance. Depending on surroundings
(walls, furniture, etc.) and building
structure, the connectable distance is
shorter. The connectable distance will
also be shorter if an obstacle is between
the FOMA terminal and another
Bluetooth device. Connection may be
unestablishable if your FOMA terminal
and the device are located on opposite
sides of walls containing metal rods, such
as on upper and lower storeys or in
adjoining rooms, especially in a building
made of reinforced concrete.
