Getting Started
• Depending on conditions of use, charging
may stop before the battery level is 100%. If
this happens, charge again after exiting all
functions in use. Before charging again, first
disconnect the FOMA terminal from the
FOMA microUSB Adapter N01 for charging or
microUSB cable for PC connection (sample),
and then reconnect it.
■
Charging time (estimate)
Charging time is an estimate of the time
required to charge a completely empty battery
pack while the FOMA terminal is powered off.
FOMA AC Adapter 01/02
Approx. 170 minutes
FOMA DC Adapter 01/02
Approx. 170 minutes
* Charging when connected to FOMA microUSB
Adapter N01 for charging.
■
Usage time when fully charged
(estimate)
Usage time differs with the operating
environment and the condition of the battery
pack.
Usage time for the FOMA terminal becomes
shorter as you view 1Seg or use GPS.
Continuous standby time
FOMA/3G
• Stationary (Automatic):Approx. 340 hours
• Moving (3G static): Approx .260 hours
• Moving (Automatic): Approx. 180 hours
GSM
• Stationary (Automatic):Approx. 220 hours
Continuous call time
FOMA/3G: Approx. 250 minutes
GSM: Approx. 250 minutes
Continuous 1Seg viewable time
Approx. 300 minutes
■
Battery pack life
• The battery pack is a consumable accessory.
The usage time of the battery per 1 charge
decreases gradually each time the battery is
recharged.
• When the usage time from 1 charge becomes
about half of a new battery pack, the life of
the battery pack is assumed to be almost over.
We recommend that you replace the battery
ahead of time.
• If you view 1Seg while charging for a long
period, the life of the battery pack may
decrease.
To prevent damage to the
environment, bring used battery
packs to a docomo service
counter, a docomo agent or a
recycling center.
■
Waterproof capability
• The battery pack, AC adapter, and supplied
desktop holder are not waterproof. You must
not charge when the FOMA terminal is wet.
• To prevent intrusion of water from the
external connection terminal, charging is
recommended using the desktop holder.
