STEERING ANGLE DETECTION FUNCTION

The steering angle is calculated based on the signal from the steering angle sensor and sent to other units via
CAN.
Steering Angle Sensor
•
The steering angle sensor, located on the combination switch, detects the steering angle and the neutral
position, and transmits them to the BCM.
Note
•
The steering angle reference point stored in the BCM is cleared in the following cases. Perform the
steering angle sensor initialization referring to the Workshop Manual.

Fuse (ROOM) removed

Wiring harness between battery and BCM disconnected
