For Graphics input, select DVI or VGA,
AUTOSET function automatically locks the MCP-601 to the VGA/DVI resolution of the computer.
(The VGA Desktop color may need to be set to Blue when doing the Autoset for some VGA cards.)
The graphics SIZE can be set to full size or underscan video output.
MagniPort graphics window sizing and positioning
VGA MagniPort size can also be set with the IR remote controller. The MagniPort is the portion
of the graphics window that to be scan-converted to a full screen video (television) output.
Furthermore, in the overlay mode, the input video can also be resized to fit into a portion of the
output video—video squeeze mode. Refer to the Video Squeeze in the Video section.
On the middle section of the IR controller, press ON/GRAP to toggle the graphics sizing and
positioning mode and press OFF/VID for video sizing and positioning.
To select anyone of the nine preprogrammed MagniPort size, press ON/GRAP to toggle to
graphics sizing mode, then press SIZE, then press any x (1 to 9) from the number button in the
central block and press Enter will recall the pre-programmed graphics window size. Then press
CLEAR to enable the IR controller to perform other functions.

The nine factory preprogrammed MagniPort sizes are illustrated in Fig.6-2 and as follows:
SIZE 1.
720 x 480 NTSC 1 to 1 window start from the upper left corner
SIZE 2.
720 x 480 NTSC 1 to 1 window from the middle of the screen
SIZE 3.
720 x 576 PAL 1 to 1 window start from the upper left corner
SIZE 4.
720 x 576 PAL 1 to 1 window from the middle of the screen
SIZE 5.
640 x 480 window from the middle of the screen
SIZE 6.
800 x 600 window from the middle of the screen
SIZE 7.
848 x 480 16:9 window from the middle of the screen
SIZE 8.
1024 x 576 16:9 window from the middle of the screen

Size adjustment of the graphics window
. In graphics (ON/GRAP) sizing mode, press SIZE,
then Up, Down, Left or Right Arrows repeatedly for the desire size, then press ENTER.
Press CLEAR after selecting the factory preprogrammed size or adjusting the graphics window
size before using it for any other functions such as re-positioning of the graphics window.
Positioning of the selected MagniPort graphics window
. After the graphics size has been
selected, in graphics (ON/GRAP) sizing mode, positioning of the graphics window by pressing
Up, Down, Left or Right Arrows repeatedly until the desire position, then press ENTER, CLEAR.
Memorize the new graphics size and position.
MagniPort graphics window, size and position
settings can be stored by invoking the Memory function of the IR Controller. Refer to the
Memory Save and Recall section in the Users Manual.
