Hardware Installation with Magni Premier application software and Remote IR Controller
Continue from the procedure under
Hardware Installation with Remote IR Controller only
•
Install the Magni Premier application software per instructions under Software
Installation.
•
After the software installation, you can operate the MCP-601 from either the IR
Controller or from the Magni Premier application software.
Software Installation
•
Before installing Magni Premier application software, close all running Windows applications.
•
The display resolution should be set for 800 x 600 with 16 bits or 24 bits color.
•
Insert the Magni Premier Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.
NOTE
: Remove any Magni Premier program that has been previously installed by using
Windows software removal utility under My Computer, Control Panel, and
Add/Remove Programs. Also use Windows Explorer to locate the Magni Premier
folder and remove it.
Magni Premier Application Software
If the PC auto-run feature is enabled, the
Installation Menu
opening screen will appear after the CD
was inserted. Otherwise, from the Desktop:

Select
My Computer
•
Select
CD-Rom drive,
the Installation folder will appear.
•
Select
Setup.exe
to install the Magni Premier program. Then follow the instructions to set up the
program.

: This MCP-601 operator’s manual is also available on the supplied User’s CD.

Setting up Control and Video I/O Configuration
•
Run Magni Premier software

Go to the
Config
tab.
On the
Config
tab:
Select Analog Video Input and Analog Video Output format Factory startup,
Composite

S-Video (Y/C components in BNC connectors. Optional cable adaptors required for equipment
with S-Video connectors)
NOTE
: Only one analog video format should be connected to the analog input and
analog output at a time
.
All unused connections must be disconnected to
avoid signal crosstalk.
