To apply a pattern attribute to a selected stroke in the Object panel:

In the Object panel, select Pattern from the stroke type pop-up menu.

Select a color for the pattern.

Set the stroke width.

Click a pattern in the lower right corner of the panel. Use the slider to scroll through the
available patterns.

To edit a pattern:

In the Object panel, select Pattern from the stroke type pop-up menu.

Select a pattern, using the slider at the bottom of the panel to scroll through the available
patterns.

The selected pattern appears in the preview windows.
