Design Requirements
Fulfill integration design requirements before mounting the Touch Screen onto the monitor! (See the Lumio
Design Guide for Integrators).
6.2
Mounting Requirements
The following mounting requirements apply:
•
Match the PCB Controller serial number with the Touch Screen serial number
!
•
Ensure that the monitor is disconnected from a power source
•
Ensure that the sensor and LED Wire cables for the Touch Screen and the PCB Controller are not connected
•
Keep the main PCB Controller away from high voltage sources
•
Keep the Sensors’ Flat Cables away from high voltage sources
•
When using Flex Sensors:
o
Ensure that no pressure bears on the Flex sensor
o
Ensure that the Flex sensors
are not laid over, or cross, sharp edges
o
Ensure that no pressure bears on the Flat Cables connecting the sensors on the monitor board
o
Ensure that
Flat Cables connecting the sensors on the monitor board are not laid, or cross, sharp edges
•
When using an external power source, ensure that the positive (+) pole is connected to the red wire, and that the
negative pole (-) is connected to the black wire
•
Air cleanness: The air in the mounting environment must be clean. Air cleanness requirement is ISO Class 7.
The following table describes air cleanness requirements.
