4.3.1
Inspection Requirements
Ensure that the following conditions apply prior to and during the Touch Screen inspection.

Note: Only Touch Screen anomalies detected during inspection under the above conditions constitute grounds for rejecting
the Touch Screen.
4.3.2
General
The following general Touch Screen glass panel requirements apply:
•
Prior to inspection, clean the glass and ensure that finger prints and other foreign materials are removed
•
Ensure that adhesive material such as glue, is not exposed beyond the Active Barrier of the Touch Screen
•
If protective film covers the glass, it should be removed before inspection and returned afterwards
Note: Complying with the IQC requirements in this document does not enable the Touch Screen to be mounted “as is” onto
the monitor. Prior to mounting, clean the Touch Screen glass panel, removing marks, finger prints, dust and any
foreign object or contamination.
4.3.3
Cleaning
The following Touch Screen glass cleaning requirements apply:
•
Clean the glass before and after each activity during the integrating process
•
Clean the glass Touch Screen with clean cloth and windows dedicated liquid
only
•
Use only alcohol based solvents to dissolve oily contaminations and marks
•
Do not
use acid based solvents such as WD-40 or acetone
•
