Functional Inspection
After inspecting the incoming Touch Screen kit components and the glass panel, perform an IQC Functional
Inspection, which is a coverage test, to ensure that the Touch Screen is functional.
To perform a coverage test:
1.
Place the Touch Screen on egg foam.
2.
Connect the Touch Screen components:
a.
Connect the PCB Controller to the sensors.
b.
Connect the LED PCB wire to the PCB Controller.
c.
Connect a Power Source.
3.
Connect the Touch Screen to a PC.
4.
Open
Windows Paint
(Navigate to:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint
).
5.
Using your finger, draw lines and touch the screen according to

procedure.

6.
After completing the test, disconnect the Touch Panel components (see steps 2, 3 above) in order to
prepare to integrate the Touch Screen into the monitor.
