2.2. Connecting to the Network
To connect the Network Storage to your network:
1.
Attach one end of the network cable to the RJ45 network connection.
2.
Attach the other end of the network cable to your Ethernet hub or switch
Important
If there are multiple networks at your facility, note the network to
which you connect the Network Storage. You will need this
information during the setup process.
2.3. Connecting the Power
To power the Network Storage:
1.
Attach the power cord on the back of the Network Storage enclosure and plug
the other end into the power source
2.
On the front of the Network Storage, press the power button
It takes about a minute to boot the Network Storage. When fully booted:
The System Status LED turns green
The buzzer beeps one time.
