| VLAN Configuration
Protocol VLANs

If the frame is untagged and the protocol type matches, the frame is
forwarded to the appropriate VLAN.
■
If the frame is untagged but the protocol type does not match, the frame is
forwarded to the default VLAN for this interface.
Parameters
These parameters are displayed:

Interface
– Displays a list of ports or trunks.
◆
Port
– Port Identifier. (Range: 1-10/28)
◆
Trunk
– Trunk Identifier. (Range: 1-8)
◆
Protocol Group ID
– Protocol Group ID assigned to the Protocol VLAN Group.
(Range: 1-2147483647)
◆
VLAN ID
– VLAN to which matching protocol traffic is forwarded.
(Range: 1-4094)
◆
Priority
– The priority assigned to untagged ingress traffic.
(Range: 0-7, where 7 is the highest priority)
Web Interface
To map a protocol group to a VLAN for a port or trunk:
1.
Click VLAN, Protocol.
2.
Select Configure Interface from the Step list.
3.
Select Add from the Action list.
4.
Select a port or trunk.
5.
Enter the identifier for a protocol group.
6.
Enter the corresponding VLAN to which the protocol traffic will be forwarded.
7.
Set the priority to assign to untagged ingress frames.
8.
Click Apply.
