8. Align the four tabs at the bottom of the storage drive bay with the slots on the new blind-connect board.

Then, press down the board and slide it as shown until it snaps into position.

9. If the computer has a RAID card installed, connect the SAS cable to the SAS connector on the RAID

card. If no RAID card is installed, connect the SAS cable to the SATA connector

on the system

board. See “Parts on the system board” on page 35.

10. Connect the power cable to the 4–pin power connector on the system board.

11. If your blind-connect assembly comes with two additional cables

, connect them to the two PCIe

connectors

on the flex adapter as shown.
