4. Remove the screw that secures the intrusion switch and remove the intrusion switch from the chassis.

5. To install a new intrusion switch, see “Installing the intrusion switch” on page 88.
6. If you are instructed to return the old instruction switch, follow all packaging instructions and use any
packaging materials that are supplied to you for shipping.
Installing the intrusion switch
To install a new intrusion switch, do the following:
1. Prepare your server. See “Preparing your server and removing the server cover” on page 41.
2. Remove the old intrusion switch in your server if necessary. See “Removing the intrusion switch”
3. Align the screw hole in the new intrusion switch with the corresponding hole in the chassis. Then install
the screw to secure the intrusion switch to the chassis.
