Step 1.  Remove PCIe riser 2 (see 

“Remove the PCIe riser assemblies and adapters” on page 100

).

Step 2.  Open and hold the retaining latch; then, pivot the battery toward the positive (+) side to disengage 

and remove it from the seat.
