12.11 STO/SBC/SS1 by Input
(Switch Mode = 10)
With parameter setting “Switch Mode” = 10, an STO, SBC or SS1 function is assigned to
the output. The function requires an enable input signal which is assigned by the „Matrix
“ parameter. Parameter “Lock Output” can be used to activate a lock function,
which can be acknowledged by a further input. Acknowledgement is only possible with
deactivated enable signal. There is no frequency or ramp monitoring.

Important:
A safety function will not be achieved before the SMC2.4 monitor has been
combined with a corresponding actuator unit.
