3.2.2 Emptying Slit Scrap Box of Saddle Stitcher SD-513
When the slit scrap box of Saddle Stitcher SD-513 becomes full, the following message will appear in the
message area of the screen.
[Saddle stitcher slit scrap box is full / Pull the lever to remove the scrap box]
Also, the message [SD slit scrap is full] appears and its indicator lights in red in the Supply/Scrap Parts area
of the Machine Screen.
Follow the procedure below to dispose of slit scraps.
NOTICE
The slit scrap box door can be opened while machine operation is in progress, but the lock can only be re-
leased when pulling the scrap box lock release lever .
The trim scrap box is not disposable. Be sure to return the trim scrap box to its original position after emptying
it.

Press [ ] at the upper-right corner of the Machine Screen, or press [Help] on the control panel .
A help message for the Machine Screen will be displayed at the top of the screen.

Press [Consumable/Scrap] at the lower-right corner of the help message area.
